‘It is not time’ to talk about Eriksen's future, says player's agent

Christian Eriksen's agent Martin Schoots refuses to talk about Inter’s midfielder future after he started training with his boyhood club Odense in Denmark.

The Danish international has not played in a competitive game since falling in his country's first game of the postponed European Championship against Finland on June 12.

The 29-year-old was given CPR before being taken to the hospital, and he has subsequently been fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD).

Christian Eriksen

has lately begun practicing with his boyhood club in Denmark on his own. With his current health, it's unknown if he will be able to play in other countries, but ultimately, it will be up to him and how he feels.

"Like any person having experienced what Christian has, he is working on his recovery,"

agent Schoots told

Spox

.

"He likes to do this in his own environment in Milan or when he is in Denmark, privately, in his country of birth.

"Occasionally, when he has some time in Denmark and when he feels like it, he may use the facilities of Odense BK, which is a great gesture from his former club.

"Chris has a positive, optimistic and energetic character, but it is not the time to talk about football. Only Christian will decide if and when this moment will come."

Inter

have voiced their willingness to help Eriksen find another club though where he can play on a regular basis.
