Isco to leave Real Madrid this winter

The Spanish midfielder is frustrated with his lack of game time under Ancelotti.

Isco has struggled for game time since the start of the current season. Carlo Ancelotti has barely used the Andalusian midfielder in his lineup, leaving him way down the pecking order at Santiago Bernabeu.

According to

Mundo Deoprtivo

, Real Madrid are open to allowing Isco to leave the club in the January transfer window.

The Spanish source claims Isco has lost his hope to secure a place in the team’s lineup, hoping to get regular game time elsewhere. The 29-year-old midfielder has attracted interest from several clubs, with Arsenal and Sevilla being his main suitors.

This winter will be the Blancos’ last chance to cash out on Isco as his contract will expire in the summer. The Spanish giants have started a process to replace their experienced players with younger talents. Following the recent departures of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane, it remains to be seen whether Real Madrid would offload Isco this winter.
