Little difference in finishing top or second - Juve’s Allegri
Max Allegri wants his side to show off a ‘quality’ match when they lock horns with the Blues, but he warns the Bianconeri that ‘it makes relatively little difference’ between first and second in the Champions League.
“
We feel good, it’s going to be a great game and we are challenging for first place in the group with the reigning champions of Europe,”
Max Allegri
told
Sport Mediaset
.
“It’s a quick playing surface, so we must be precise and accurate in our passing.”
Should
Juventusdraw the clash against
Chelsea, they will seal first place this evening, making their way to the Round of 16, but Allegri doesn’t believe it necessarily makes a difference to finish first or second.
“In the Champions League, it makes relatively little difference whether you finish top or second in the group. I think above all this will be a game with a high level of technical quality, then after that we can think about Serie A and Saturday.”
Juventus having the upper hand is for their 1-0 victory over Chelsea courtesy of Federico Chiesa’s goal, ensuring their 100 percent record in the
Champions Leagueso far this time around.
“We are fortunate to be playing in this beautiful stadium and want to focus on the here and now, rather than what might happen in three or four months. We have to focus on the moment.”
