A heart problem could lead to the end of Sergio Aguero's career.

Argentina

coach Lionel Scaloni still hopes that Sergio Aguero will return to action, despite the rumors about his retirement

Reports suggest that the 33-year-old striker may be forced to retire from football due to health problems, and that continuing to play football will seriously endanger his health. Aguero is currently sidelined with a heart problem and will not be able to play for at least three months, but Scaloni has backed him and expressed hope that he will see him on the pitch as soon as possible.

Asked if he has been in contact with Aguero, Scaloni told reporters:

“Regarding Kun, yes, we’ve talked and we’ve sent each other messages.

“Besides him being a player, he is a boy we appreciate a lot.

“We are sad because he is going through something no-one deserves.

“We hope he recovers and could be playing as soon as possible. We send him all our support.”
