Former Bayern boss mocked City & PSG for failing to win UCL

Both teams managed to advance to the finals of the competition but failed to win the championship.

Bayern Munich

manager Uli Hoeness has mocked Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City after the two teams failed to win the Champions League.

City were bought by Abu Dhabi United Group in 2008 at a high cost, and Paris Saint-Germain was bought by Qatar Sport and owned by Nasser Al-Khelaifi, with a large investment. Despite attracting the world's great players and spending a lot of money on their team, these two clubs have not been able to win the Champions League to date. Hoeness now mocked the two clubs for their failures.

He said: "

So far they haven't won anything. Nothing at all. The two teams don't have a single Champions League title.

"They will continue to lose against us. Not always, but sometimes. That has to be the goal, and if we win against them, I'm really happy. This is what stimulates me to show them, 'your s****y money, that's not enough!'

"The difference between [PSG president Al-Khelaifi] and me is: I worked hard for the money and he got it as a gift. He doesn't need to work for that. When he wants a player, he will find his emir."
