Al Hilal beat Al Nassr to play Asian Champions League final

Al Hilal SFC will play in the Asian Champions League final for the third time in five years after beating 10-man Al Nassr 2-1 in the semi-final on Tuesday.

 in the 17th minute with a cross-shot from the Frenchman

had gradually come into the game after their opponents opened the scoring and moved up into attacking positions, but were dealt a blow on the stroke of half-time when left-back

was sent off for a high-footed foul on Marega, forcing the Malian off the ground.

Five minutes into the second half,

scored the equalizer for Al Nassr when he headed past Al Hilal goalkeeper

With 72 minutes on the clock,

Al Dawsari

scored his third goal of the knockout stage, after chipping the ball high towards the goal to restore Al Hilal’s lead.

The other semi-final is scheduled for Wednesday and it is already certain that it will make way for a South Korean finalist, as defending champions

Pohang Steelers
