Napoli’s Spalletti as Coach of the Month in September
The Napoli manager is named Coach of the Month in September after delivering six victories in six Serie A matches.
’s first two clashes were in August, but
Luciano Spalletti
’s side have started the season on the right foot, having won six games out of six.
They are sitting top of the
Serie Atable with two points in their advantage from
Milanbefore their battle against
Fiorentina.
Spalletti is named Coach of the Month by the Lega Serie A and he will receive the award on October 17 before they lock horns with Tornio.
“The award was assigned by a jury of Directors of sports media who evaluated each coach on the basis of technical and sporting criteria and the quality of play of their teams, as well as their behaviour/fair play during matches,”
an official statement from the Lega Serie A read.
“For the final calculation were considered the matchdays from 1st to 6th of Serie A TIM 2021/2022.”
“We are very pleased to assign the first Coach Of The Month award to Luciano Spalletti, who is proving once again to be one of the most important coaches in Europe,”
said Luigi De Siervo, CEO of Lega Serie A.
“His experience and ability to always get the best from his players have allowed Napoli to express a spectacular and at the same time effective game. Six wins in the first six matches of Serie A TIM, the second-best attack with 16 goals and the best defence with two goals certify the excellent work done by the coach of the leading team.”
