Juventus will face Chelsea with great misfortune.
boss Max Allegri has confirmed that Paolo Dybala and Alvaro Morata will miss their matches against Chelsea and Torino, and has given details about what happened in the match against Sampdoria.
Juventus had won their first home match in the current Serie A season, but their defense did not perform well and the team's confidence was very low. It was Allegri's 400th victory as coach, but the Italian looked nervous on the pitch in the final minutes of the game. Dybala suffered a muscle injury after just 20 minutes and Alvaro Morata was forced to leave the pitch due to a thigh injury. After the game, the Italian coach confirmed that two stars of his team will be absent for the Chelsea game.
“Dybala and Morata certainly won’t play against Chelsea or Torino. That is for certain. We can only hope that we get them back after the break for international duty.
“This is part of the game, we have to keep going.”
Allegri added on the match:
“The team defended well as a team, but there were errors on a corner for 3-1 and then we gave it away in midfield for 3-2.
“We should’ve killed the game off earlier, we’re happy to have a second consecutive victory, the first at home, and will now prepare for Chelsea.”
