The Juventus star has constantly struggled with fitness problems in recent seasons.
Hoping for a revival of form in the post-Ronaldo era, Massimiliano Allegri has madePaulo Dybala
a central figure to his new project at the club. The Argentine star has scored two goals and provided two assists in his five Serie A matches for the Bianconeri this season, but he might face another spell on the sidelines due to a new injury.
Dybala scored the opener in Juventus’ clash against Sampdoria on Saturday, smashing an exceptional strike from the edge of the box in the tenth minute. However, the 27-year-old’s good day came to an abrupt end twelve minutes later, when he limped off the pitch with an apparent muscular injury. Dybala was visibly emotional after the substitution, with his Juve teammates comforting him.
It remains to be seen how long the Argentinian forward must be sidelined. Allegri will certainly worry about the extent of the injury, with his side being set to face Champions League winners Chelsea on Wednesday.
