Sat 25 September 2021 | 21:54

Salah failed to secure the victory for Liverpool in the night that he reached 100 goals.

Mohamed Salah

scored his 100th Premier League goal in the early minutes of the second half in

Liverpool’s

clash against

Brentford

, but it wasn’t enough for

Jurgen Klopp’s

men to win their tough battle. The Reds failed to defeat Brentford and the game ended in a 3-3 draw on the day that Manchester United was defeated by Aston Villa.

The game started with so much heat as both sides opened the scoring, early in a game that was in Brentford's home.

Ethan Pinnock

scored for Brentford in the 27th minute, which was responded by

Diogo Jota’s

goal to assure everyone of a very tough battle.

In the second half, Salah’s 100th Premier League goal for the Reds gave them the lead, but it was also responded with another leveler from the home side a few minutes later by

Vitaly Janelt

.

Curtis Jones

scored to put his side in the lead again, but Brentford didn’t give up, and

Yoane Wissa

scored his side’s third goal to secure one point for his side.

The Reds had a lot of opportunities to secure the victory, but they weren’t able to score more goals, so one point was the only thing that they got in that clash.
