I love Mbappe but he should be more humble - Metz coach

Metz manager Frederic Antonetti says the French prodigy should have a better attitude if he ‘wants to be loved’.

Kylian Mbappe

, who won the 2018 World Cup with France, continues to make progress in his career. The French star, who is allegedly spending his last season at

Paris Saint-Germain

and is said to be reluctant to extend his contract, has set the fantastic record of 178 goals in 136 games for PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain faced Metz yesterday in the seventh week of the Ligue 1 and managed to defeat the opponent with two goals from Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi.

PSG’s winner was scored in the final moments of the game. Furious with Mbappe’s post-goal celebration and his gestures, Metz goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja barged out and confronted the Parisians after the second goal.

Metz boss

Frederic Antonetti

reflected on Mbappe’s actions in a post-match interview, saying the 22-year-old star needs to change his behavior if he wants to be loved.

"Kylian Mbappe had better behave differently if he wants to be loved,"

Antonetti said.

"I love this player, he is very, very strong, but he would benefit from having a more humble behavior.

"In the game he had been non-existent. It happens when he cannot find space."
