Nagelsmann happy with his side’s performance

Bayern Munich defeats RB Leipzig to keep their domination in the domestic competition.

In his first return to the Red Bull Arena,

Julian Nagelsmann

defeated his former team 4-1 on a comfortable Saturday for

Bayern Munich

in the Bundesliga. Nagelsmann, who upset the

Leipzig

supporters with his departure, has not made them feel any better in his return, and now they would even hate him more.

The visitors took the lead very early in the first half as

Lewandowski

found the net in the 12th minute from the penalty spot, and then

Jamal Musiala

and

Leroy Sane

made the fans comfortable about the victory, and Leipzig only managed to respond to one of the opposition’s goals as

Jesse Marsch

scored his side’s only goal immediately after Sane’s goal, but it wasn’t the end of the game as

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting

added another one for the winning side in the stoppage time to secure a 4-1 victory for Bayern Munich.

Some of the pundits in German football suggest RB Leipzig as Bayern Munich’s new rival in the domestic competition, but with a quick look at the clashes between these sides, you can see that Leipzig has not been able to stand against the Bundesliga giants yet, although they may be considered as one of the title contenders in the future if they keep improving over the years.
