FIFA has no right to ban Brazilian players - Liverpool

It is possible that Liverpool will not comply with FIFA's ruling

Liverpool

say FIFA has no reason to ban Premier League clubs for preventing Brazilian players from traveling.

On Wednesday, it was revealed that FIFA had banned Premier League clubs from using Brazilian players under Article 5.

Using Article 5, at the request of the Brazilian Football Association, FIFA banned Brazilian Premier League players from participating in next week's games for five days, from 10 to 14 September, during which the stars lost fourth week's games. thsese players will also miss Tuesday's Champions League matches.

With this ban, Liverpool will suffer most because Allison, Roberto Firmino and Fabinho are not currently available for a trip to Leeds United on Sunday.

According to Sky Sports News, Liverpool believe that FIFA has no basis to prevent the selection of players due to the coronavirus epidemic conditions and the quarantine protocol that players must follow when returning to the UK.

Under FIFA Article 22 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code, penalties that may be imposed if these restrictions are ignored include fines and a 3-0 loss.

On Sunday this week, Brazilian players who were not allowed to travel to the World Cup qualifiers against Argentina, including Fred Manchester United, Thiago Silva at Chelsea and Ederson and Gabriel Jesus, will not be able to accompany their team.
