David Luiz may end up playing for Sarri again

Arsenal’s former defender may reunite with his former manager Sarri.

David Luiz

, who once played under

Maurizio Sarri

at

Chelsea

, has been without a club since his contract with

Arsenal

was expired on June 30, and the 34-year-old center-half is looking for a team to continue with his career, and the reports suggest that he may reunite with his former head coach who has been hired as

Lazio

manager, but his agent is also considering a move to

Benfica

.

Former Brazil international has played for Vitoria, Benfica, and Paris Saint-Germain during his career and his best days were when he was playing for the Parisians, but in general, the player has always been considered among the high-quality players in his post despite his ups and downs. He has played 57 games for Brazil's national team alongside his pair in defense, Thiago Silva, scoring three goals.

The transfer window has been closed in Italy, but the clubs can still sign players who are not under contract with any other team, but there are still other possible transfers for the experienced defender too, as he has been a target for Flamengo in his home country if he accepts to return.

Benfica is his third option, but according to the reports and the situation at Lazio with the lack of high-quality defenders, a move to Lazio seems like the most probable option.
