Atletico Madrid agree terms with Wolves over Rafa Mir

Atletico Madrid seem to have ended their extensive search to find a new striker. The La Liga champions are linked with a summer move for Wolves’

as they can’t rely on Luis Suarez to be their sole option upfront.

, Atletico Madrid have reached an agreement with Wolves over the transfer of Mir. The 24-year-old, who was part of La Roja's squad at the Olympics, is expected to travel to his home country in the coming days. The Rojiblancos will reportedly pay €15million upfront with €10million in variables for the Spanish forward.

. The Spaniard featured in 38 league matches for the La Liga side, scoring 13 goals and providing one assist.

Mir is expected to be available for Atletico’s La Liga opener against Celta Vigo on Sunday.
