Rafa Benitez admits Moise Kean’s future is still uncertain

Amid talk of Moise Kean returning to PSG, Benitez confirmed that the future of the Everton striker is unknown.

Kean spent the last season on loan in Paris, scoring 17 goals in 41 appearances. The Italian forward left PSG at the end of the season because the Parisian club did not have the option to make the contract permanent. However, there are rumors that PSG is looking to bring the striker back to France.

Kean scored in their 1-0 win over Pumas in the Florida Cup yesterday and Rafa Benitez provided an update about the striker.

I think it’s important for a striker to score, so good news for him and for us. It’s an early stage in the pre-season, so we have to keep working and see what happens,

” the Toffees coach said.

“The problem of the transfer window is that it ends at the end of August, so we’ll have to play games and make decisions on players. It’s important for them to understand that they have to carry on and for him to score goals is the best way to make his point.”

The 21-year-old’s contract at Everton expires in June 2024.
