The Chelsea player is asking the club for a departure as he likes to take on a new challenge in Serie A with Inter, as per recent reports.

Marcos Alonso

played for

Fiorentina

from 2013 to 2016 and is familiar with Italian football.

He is having a hard time getting more game time at Stamford Bridge, especially if Emerson Palmieri stays despite interest from Napoli.

The 30-year-old has been linked with Inter as part of

Chelsea

’s offer for Achraf Hakimi, which did not happen, as the full-back made a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

As per reports from

La Gazzetta dello Sport

, the Blues are demanding €15-20m for the Spain international, while Inter would like to acquire his services on a loan contract that includes an option to buy.

Alonso is pushing the Premier League club for a departure, but his deal is due to end in 2023. He joined the club in 2016 from Fiorentina for €23m.

Roma

were also keen on signing him, but they agreed terms with Palmeiras to pen a contract with Matias Vina.
