Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of pre-season training, the Spanish club announced on Friday.
The 33-year-old had been on holiday in France after Euro 2020 and was expected to return toReal Madrid
’s pre-season training today, but due to the positive test result, he has to go into self-isolation in Lyon before heading back to Spain.
