Xhaka set to finally make a move to Roma

According to Sky Sport Italia, Granit Xhaka’s deal is on the verge of being completed in order for the midfielder to make a move to Roma from Arsenal.

, when he was appointed as Paulo Fonseca’s replacement.

The two parties have been negotiating the terms and an agreement is about to be reached.

As per recent reports, they are planning for the Swiss international to meet up with his new teammates in their pre-season training next week.

The 28-year-old reached an agreement with the club on personal terms and will receive a €2.5m per season salary until June 2025.

Arsenal

’s demanding price was €20m, but Roma are trying to add bonuses and add-ons to meet their requirements.

The Gunners were more open when they sealed Xhaka’s replacement, penning a contract with Albert Sambi Lokonga from RSC Anderlecht this week.
