West Ham winger Felipe Anderson has arrived in Rome to do his medical test before completing his return to Lazio, having previously left the Serie A side in 2018.
According to reports by
Sky Sport Italia
, the 28-year-old winger is currently in Rome for his medical.
The 28-year-old signed for the Premier League side in July 2018 for a reported fee of €38m after a five-year spell atLazio
between 2013 and 2018.
But he failed to impress andWest Ham
made it clear that the winger was not part of his plans last season by sending him out on loan toPorto
However, that switch to Portugal did little to help him reignite his career and he managed only 10 appearances in all competitions, in which he failed to produce a single goal or assist.
West Ham will receive just over £4m for the midfielder by selling the winger back to Lazio but do have a 50 percent sell-on clause in the deal.
Felipe Anderson made 177 appearances for Lazio during his first spell with the Serie A club, scoring 34 goals and providing 39 assists.
