The Denmark international will go back to Milan next week to have his medical tests done.

Christian Eriksen

collapsed during

Denmark

’s Euro 2020 game with Finland on June 12 and suffered a cardiac arrest.

The

Inter

midfielder had a defibrillator implanted and should the device be permanent, his career will end in Serie A.

Italy forbids such devices but he may be able to play elsewhere.

As per reports from

Tuttosport

, Eriksen will meet with his teammates and coach Simone Inzaghi in Milan next week. He will also undergo more medical tests.

I

<em>

also spoke to Eriksen before the Euros, not after. I counted on him. Inter did a good job in signing Calhanoglu, who is an important player. Eriksen has time to come back, we are waiting for him with open arms,”

Inzaghi ensured.

UEFA also invited the Denmark international to watch the Euro 2020 Final at Wembley on Sunday.

The Nerazzurri supporters showed their respect for the player by singing “We are Christian Eriksen” outside Inter’s training ground yesterday.
