to join the Parisians. The high-profile center-back left Real Madrid after many successful years; despite his interest in extending his deal with the club, he was forced to leave the club as a free agent, and big clubs like Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and were interested in signing him, but he turned the Premier League clubs’ offers, down to join the Ligue 1 giants and the reports suggest that his decision was based on his ambitions for the Champions League.

Eventually, Ramos officially became a Paris Saint-Germain player on Friday, and the fans and the board are hoping to see him help the team win the domestic and the continental title as he calls Parc Des Princes the best place to follow his ambitions.

He said:

"Paris Saint-Germain is a club that has already proven itself at the highest level.

"I want to continue to grow and improve at Paris and help the team to win as many trophies as possible."

The Gunners had reportedly handed the player a bigger offer, but the fact they weren’t able to find themselves a place in the continental competitions made it impossible for him to agree with their offer; and Guardiola’s side has also offered the player a contract until 2023, and the possibility of playing in the MLS after that, but PSG’s potentials are more convincing to any player.
