Griezmann apologizes to Barca sponsor for controversial video
The Barcelona star has issued an apology to Hiroshi Mikitani, the Rakuten chief.

Ousmane Dembele
appeared in a controversial video and seemed to be mocking Japanese workers, which led to accusations of racism.
When the video was leaked, the France international took it to his
to apologize and insisted that he is not racist.
He tweeted:
“I have always been committed against any form of discrimination. For the past few days, some people have wanted to pass me off as the man I am not.
“I firmly refute the accusations made against me and I am sorry if I could offend my Japanese friends.”
Notwithstanding that,
Barcelona’s main sponsor Rakuten’s CEO, tweeted and revealed that he will need answers from the Blaugrana on the matter.
As per reports from RAC1 via
Sport, however, the Frenchman has ‘already been in contact’ to apologize to
Hiroshi Mikitani
, and his teammate Dembele will also do that soon.
