Kroos hopes Ramos stay at Real Madrid

The German midfielder wants his captain to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

midfielder Toni Kroos has expressed hope that captain Sergio Ramos will continue to play for the club.

At the end of this month, Ramos can leave Real Madrid as a free agent after the end of his contract. There are many rumors about him joining Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Chelsea, and some sources even believe that he may return to Sevilla, the team from which he started playing football.

Ramos is one of the most important players in Real Madrid and he has won many honors with this team, and now Toni Kroos has expressed hope that the Spanish star will continue his presence in Real Madrid.

"I don't know how things are going with the club. Of course he's a top colleague and I enjoyed very much playing with him and I really hope that we'll have some more years together," the German told reporters.

"But in the end it's not my decision. What I can say is that he's a great guy - and the best captain I ever had in my career."

Ramos joined Real Madrid in 2005 and has played more than 670 games for the team, he has won 5 La Liga titles and 4 Champions League titles with the team.
