Lille’s former boss Christophe Galtier may be Carlo Ancelotti’s successor at Everton.

Everton

has been looking for a new manager since

Ancelotti’s

departure, and Lille’s former sporting director Luis Campos has suggested that

Christophe Galtier

would be the best option to take Carlo Ancelotti’s job.

Galtier left the Ligue 1 side just two days after helping them to win the domestic title for the first time in a decade.

Campos has worked with Galtier in Lille and insists that he would be the best option to coach Everton.

"Christophe has all the qualities to coach in England, technically he is very astute and is extremely detailed in his planning when preparing a team,"

Campos told

Sky Sports News

.

"He likes a 4-4-2 system, which would fit with the Premier League and he is a fantastic motivator in the dressing room.

"He likes to build a side with quality and youth, he is someone that can develop a team ethic, and he is also a fantastic human being."

Carlo Ancelotti’s return to Real Madrid was confirmed last week, and Everton has been looking for a replacement for him ever since, and some of their options are David Moyes and Nuno Espirito Santo.

The club’s board members have discussed the possibility of Marco Silva’s return alongside the manager who was about to replace Silva at Everton Vitor Pereira.

There were other candidates in the club’s discussions too, but they have been ruled out from the list of possible candidates, and they were Rafa Benitez, Roberto Martinez, and Steven Gerrard.
