Mahmoud Dahoud: BVB midfielder attracts from England, Spain and Italy

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga outfit.

According to Kicker, several clubs from England, Spain, and Italy have shown interest in signing the midfielder in the summer transfer window.

Mahmoud Dahoud

signed a five-year contract with

Borussia Dortmund

in 2017. The great talent came from

Borussia Monchengladbach

and had problems for a long time and could never really prevail.

But now his impressive form in the second half of the season has made several other clubs interested in signing him.

The 25-year-old’s current contract will expire in summer 2022. How it will continue seems unclear. However, Both sides believe there will be a new contract extension.

Kicker added that negotiations for a contract extension were still on hold, with Dahoud's future also going to depend on how he fits into new coach Marco Rose's plans for next season.

The central midfielder made 31 appearances for Dortmund last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
