Galatasaray bid £12.9m for Sheffield’s Coulibaly
The Malian midfielder’s performances in Beerschot have attracted interest from a host of European clubs.
Ismaila Coulibaly
joined
Sheffield Unitedwith a £2m deal last September. The 20-year-old was loaned out to Belgian side
Beerschot, who are part-owned by Sheffield United owner Prince Abdullah. The player was set to spend three years at the Belgian club, but his performances have already impressed several European clubs. According to
Sky Sports,
Galatasarayhave bid £12.9m for the young midfielder. However, the bid falls short of the Blades’ price tag for the young midfielder. The newly relegated club have previously rejected
AC Milan’s £10m bid for Coulibaly. The Mali U20 international scored five goals in his 22 league appearances for Beerschot last season as they finished ninth in the Jupiler Pro League.
