Frankfurt sign highly-rated young right winger from Valencia

captured Fabio Blanco from a humble team in the province of Almería, La Mojonera. The player's family decided to accept the proposal of Valencia, which at first they signed him as a forward.

However, in last years they have converted him into the right-handed winger that has drew the attention of Real Madrid, Barcelona and other greats of Europe, like Bayern Munich.

Blanco joins

from Valencia CF on a free transfer, striking a contract until 2023 with an option to extend it further.

"Fabio Blanco Gómez was tempted by a few top European sides but had the good sense to decide to come to Frankfurt,"

Frankfurt director of professional football, Ben Manga commented.

"His technical ability is extraordinary, the way he plays football and his anticipation in game situations, just outstanding. However, a young, rising talent still needs the opportunity to develop and flourish. Fabio will have that opportunity with us."
