Lewandowski will not leave Bayern - Rummenigge

There are many rumors about Robert Lewandowski leaving Bayern Munich next summer.

president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has denied rumors linking Robert Lewandowski with a move away from the club.

Rumor has it that Bayern Munich may be ready to negotiate the sale of the 32-year-old striker to make room for Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund. Lewandowski has had an outstanding performance this season, scoring 40 goals in the Bundesliga. Rummenigge has now denied rumors that the Polish striker will leave the club, saying he will stay at Bayern Munich.

Rummenigge told



"Sure he stays. Who sells a player that scores 60 goals a year?"

Former Bayern Munich striker Giovane Elber also praised Lewandowski, saying:

"There is no one like Lewandowski in the world. 

"It is amazing how he has played in recent years, how many goals he has scored. He deserves to be the world's best footballer.

"I wish that Lewandowski will stay with FC Bayern for a long time."
