Manchester City boss thinks that investing on Ferran Torres was a right decision.

The

Citizens

are happy to see the highly-rated 21-year-old player that they brought from Spain has improved since his arrival to show the club that their investment was the right decision.

Ferran Torres

joined

Pep Guardiola’s

side in the summer of 2020 with a £20 million contract which is a considerable price for a player at his age, but he has tried his best to show that he was worth it.

Here is what Manchester City boss told the reporters about the Spain international after the Citizens 2-0 victory:

"Ferran has scored a lot of goals, but today was first game is I saw that he can handle the physicality of the Premier League.

"He was a little boy and now he is a man, when you have this aggression in the Premier League it is good."

The Spain international made his first appearance for the Citizens in their 3-1 victory over Wolves on  September 21, 2020, and has scored 10 goals and assisted 3, which makes him an important player in Pep Guardiola’s squad, in a season that they have secured the Premier League and have a shot in the Champions League.

Torres has been a regular starter for his national team and is ready to help Luis Enrique in the European Championship.
