Eintracht Frankfurt director: We have three finals ahead of us

Sun 25 April 2021 | 11:30

According to board member Fredi Bobic, Eintracht Frankfurt would treat each of their final three Bundesliga matches as if it were a final.

Fredi Bobic

, a member of Eintracht Frankfurt's board of directors, voiced his dissatisfaction with the team's 3-1 defeat to

Bayer Leverkusen

on Saturday.

Despite their loss, he emphasized that Frankfurt are still in the 4th spot, one point ahead of Borussia Dortmund, implying that their

Champions League

qualification is still in their own hands for the taking.

"We're obviously disappointed that we lost. There were periods in the game when we looked good, but we have to admit that too often we allowed Leverkusen too much space to play," said Bobic.

"We're now one point ahead of Dortmund. We have three matches ahead of us, all of which we'd like to win. If we win all three, then we'll still be at least one point in front.

"We now need to approach all three matches as if each one is a final."
