Rummenigge confirmed Bayern not interested in Haaland

The Norwegian star has attracted a lot of attention with his brilliant performances.

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has stated that they have no plans to sign Erling Haaland in the summer and do not intend to add a striker alongside Robert Lewandowski.

Haaland who joined


in January 2020, have performed very well this season and have attracted a lot of attention. Bayern Munich had previously bought Lewandowski from Dortmund and now Rummenigge has emphasized that they do not intend to repeat the same transfer.

The Bayern chief told



: "I don't know where the rumours have come from. I can only say one thing: we have the world's best footballer in this position. Robert Lewandowski has a contract until 2023."

Real Madrid and Barcelona are among the teams that are seriously monitoring the situation in Haaland. Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are also among his potential buyers. Haaland have scored 21 goals in the Bundesliga this season, but have a big difference with Robert Lewandowski, who has scored 35 goals in 25 games.
