Inter Loanee, Valentino Lazaro claims that he wants to turn his loan transfer from Inter to Borussia Monchengladbach into a permanent contract.

Last summer after six months in the Premier League with Newcastle,

Lazaro

came back to the Bundesliga on loan for a season.

Gladbach can purchase Lazaro at the end of this season and it seems the 24-year-old desires to stay longer

“I feel extremely comfortable here at Monchengladbach, it’s a real family environment,”

Lazaro

mentioned to the German team’s official magazine.

“I’ll have to wait and see if my loan deal will become something more, though.”

The Austrian international moved in Inter in a €20 million contract from Hertha Berlin in the summer of 2019, but a pre-season injury kept him back and he was moved to Newcastle on loan for the second half of last season.

In his time with Borussia Monchengladbach, he has played 12 matches in all competitions under Marco Rose, scoring one goal and providing a single assist.

Lazaro

’s goal was remarkable during a 4-3 loss at Bayer Leverkusen in November, which finally went viral and earned him rave comments on social media.

“That was a moment of pure instinct,”

he admitted.

“If I’d thought about doing a scorpion kick and then tried it, it would never have worked.”
