The Bundesliga coach was faced with severe criticism following their derby defeat, which is considered to be of an utmost importance to Gladbach fans.
manager, Marco Rose, has been under constant pressure following their derby defeat toFC Köln
as his future seems to be reaching an end with the Bundesliga club.
Gladbach fans, who are known for their fierce rivalry with FC Köln, fired the head-coach with criticism after he decided to rotate seven of his options by placing some of them on the bench.
The FPMG supporters group accused Rose of not caring about the priorities of Glabach’s fanbase by releasing a statement, which read:
"Anyone who sees the derby as an ideal opportunity to undertake a rotative experiment does not understand Borussia Mönchengladbach. You don't mess around with the derby!"
Prior to the game Rose, who was aware of the possible criticism after the match, said:
"If we win, Rose has done everything right and will be called the 'Master of Rotation'. If we're not successful, then the coach probably rotated out the win."
The rumors of Rose’s departure continue to emerge amidBorussia Dortmund
links despite the club sporting director, Max Eberl, stating that there is a 98% chance of the coach staying at Gladbach.
Back in December, Eberl said that the chances of Rose’s stay are 99%.
