Wirtz and Moukoko setting new records

Florian Wirtz and Youssoufa Moukoko were able to score on Saturday and made history in the progress.

Florian Wirtz

scored a goal for

Bayer Leverkusen

in their 5-2 loss against Stuttgart. It was Wirtz’s fifth

Bundesliga

goal.

Wirtz at 17 years, nine months, and three days became the youngest player to that mark.

He became the youngest scorer in Bundesliga history in the game against Bayern Munich last season when he was only 17 years and 34 days old.

However,

Youssoufa Moukoko

was able to set a new record when was only 16 years and 28 days old and scored a goal in their 2-1 loss against Union Berlin.

He had not been able to score again until Saturday when he scored a goal for

Borussia Dortmund

in their 2-1 defeat against Freiburg.

Christian Pulisic used to be the youngest player to score two Bundesliga goals, but now Moukoko has set a new record as he was able to get there when he was 505 days younger than Pulisic.
