"We always believed in our qualities"-Ante Rebic

Rebic admits he prefers playing on the left rather than as a forward, but is happy to help Milan during Ibrahimovic’s injury.

Ante Rebic

claimed that he would rather play as a left midfielder than a central striker, but he is happy that he can help the team when Zlatan is injured.

Milan will face Sampdoria tomorrow and must win this match to maintain their proper distance in the table from Inter Milan.

We always believed in our qualities and are giving our all on the pitch

,” Rebic told Sky Sport Italia and Milan TV.

Ante Rebic has yet to score for AC Milan in Serie A this season, although he has been sidelined for a long time with an elbow injury.

“I do feel better playing on the left, but can also work as a centre-forward. As long as I help my team, that’s what matters.

“It’s more important for me that the team is winning and we’re doing well. The goal will come.

“I had seven or eight weeks to recover, that was a difficult time, but now I feel good and hope to start playing the way I did before the injury.”

Milan came back from 2-0 down to beat Celtic 4-2 in the Europa League on Thursday.

“We haven’t had much time to paper for this game, but we know what to do. We are Milan.”
