Real Madrid club refused to receive the La Liga trophy and organize the celebrations in the next match with Granada, which will be held next Saturday at Nuevo Los Cármenes Stadium, as part of the activities of the thirty-fifth round of the Spanish League.

According to what the Spanish newspaper “Marca” mentioned, the La Liga Association decided to give Real Madrid the Spanish League Cup after its match with Granada.
Despite this decision, Real Madrid expressed its dissatisfaction with the timing of the trophy delivery and suggested postponing the celebration party to the fourteenth of May, when it meets with Deportivo Alavés.
The royal club believes that Granada could be relegated in the next round, and therefore it is not appropriate to coincide the receipt of the cup with the joy of the Andalusian team staying in the league.
Real Madrid is expected to celebrate the Spanish League title on Sunday in the streets of Madrid, where the players will tour on an open bus and visit the Cibeles fountain.
