Al Ain outperforms Al Hilal in the AFC Champions League semi-finals!

Rahimi’s hat-trick and drama until the last moments characterize the fiery match at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium

 

In today’s Wednesday match, Al Ain team from the UAE managed to achieve an important victory over its guest, Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia, with a score of 4-2, which made it book a seat in the awaited final of the AFC Champions League. The match, which was held at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium and was part of the semi-finals of the tournament, witnessed several exciting moments, as three penalty kicks were awarded in favor of Al Ain team.

Since the beginning of the match, both teams started with a similar style of play, but Al Ain soon took control in the first half, where it managed to score early in the sixth minute, and then continued to attack Al Hilal’s goal with enthusiasm and determination, which led to scoring two more goals in the 27th and 38th minutes from penalty kicks.

Despite Al Hilal’s attempts in the second half to compensate, Al Ain team continued to excel and scored another goal in the 56th minute, which widened the gap between the two teams. But despite this, Al Hilal made tremendous efforts and managed to score two goals in the 49th and 78th minutes, which stirred their enthusiasm and made the end thrilling.

With this important victory, Al Ain team from the UAE holds the advantage before the second leg match to be held in Riyadh, hoping to confirm their qualification for the final in their quest to win the AFC Champions League title.
