"My family and I are so happy here" says Martinez
Lautaro Martinez wants to stay at Inter.
Inter's first Champions League match ended in a 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad, while their second match ended in a 1-0 victory against Benfica. Thuram scored a goal in this match for
Inter.
Lautaro Martinez said to Canale 5 after the game that this was a very important win.
“It was a very important game for us because we struggled to play as we know against Real Sociedad,”
he said.
“We had to change today against an opponent we had already faced last season. We are happy with the victory.”
Martinez also spoke about renewing his contract, saying that his family are happy at Inter.
“My family and I are so happy here. I’m giving my best and there is no reason to change.”
Martinez has scored 112 goals for Inter in 245 games.
Inter will play against Bologna in their next game in Serie A.
