De Ketelaere: "Atalanta are a great team and I want to do well"
Charles De Ketelaere scored in their first game for Atalanta.
defeated Sassuolo 2-0 in their first Serie A match. Charles De Ketelaere and Zortea scored for Atalanta in this game.
He told Corriere della Sera after the game that he is happy to have helped his team win.
“I’ve been waiting for feelings like this for a long time, I wanted to score and I am happy it helped the team win the game,”
he said.
“I spoke to the coach about my playing style and tried to do what he wanted,”
“I like Gasperini’s playing style and it’s one of the reasons why I came here. Atalanta are a great team and I want to do well. This is a great opportunity for me and I want to do well.”
De Ketelaere, who came on loan from Milan to Atalanta, was unable to score in the last season's 32 Serie A matches for Milan.
