Baraja: "We need wingers and strikers"

Valencia are looking to sign attacking players for their squad.

Valencia

lost 2-1 to Aston Villa in a friendly match at home.

Valencia had a difficult season last year and until the final week, there was a possibility of relegation to a lower division. However, they finished 16th and managed to stay in La Liga.

Ruben Baraja, the coach of Valencia, mentioned to Marca after the match against Aston Villa that the team needs around five or six attacking players.

“We need wingers and strikers. I don’t know the figure, but most likely five or six players that complements our attack. It is obvious that cash is needed, but you have to continue to trust the transfer market.”

he said.

Valencia will play their first match of the new La Liga season against Sevilla.
