Silva thinks City are 'playing their best football' but is wary of Arsenal

Bernardo Silva believes that his team is reaching its peak at the appropriate moment as the Premier League title contest intensifies

Bernardo Silva thinks that

Manchester City

are peaking at the right moment as the battle for the Premier League title heats up, following their convincing 4-1 win over Liverpool on Saturday, following the international break. Despite being without their top scorer Erling Haaland due to an injury, City managed to secure a comfortable victory. Bernardo is confident that the team can surpass Arsenal and clinch the league title.

"I think we’re playing our best football of the season. Where we are at the moment is the best we’ve played, by far,"

he told reporters.

"Arsenal can win it, but we're going to fight until the end. It can go both ways. Some people say 'City are more experienced' and others say 'oh, because they’ve won it in the past, they don’t want to win it any more'. For Arsenal, it's the same. One day they don't have enough experience to win it, but the next day it’s 'oh they're very hungry because they've never won it'. Experienced or inexperienced, they are there. They are very good and deserve to be there."

According to

Bernardo Silva

, it's premature to concentrate on the upcoming match between Manchester City and Arsenal, which will take place at the Etihad Stadium on April 26, as the Premier League title race is still ongoing.

"It could be a very important game against them, but we have big games before then,"

he explained.

"If we slip up before then, it doesn’t matter what happens in that game."

Arsenal currently lead the Premier League and are eight points ahead of City, who have a game in hand. While City have more experience in the title race, they also understand the importance of avoiding mistakes as they try to catch up to Arsenal in the remaining matches of the season.
