Agent claims Nagelsmann was informed about his sacking by the media

Julian Nagelsmann was surprisingly sacked as Bayern's head coach and was immediately replaced by Thomas Tuchel last week. Although Bayern chief executive Kahn claimed the coach was informed by the club before the media leak, his representatives have denied his claims.

Bayern decided to sack Julian Nagelsmann after winning just five of Bayern's last 10 Bundesliga matches. The decision came while the Bavarians are still pursuing a treble. Bayern Munich chief executive Oliver Kahn claimed that the coach was informed of the club's decision before it was reported by the media. However, his representatives claim he learned of his own sacking via news reports. The 35-year-old was reportedly on a skiing holiday in Austria when he learned of his imminent exit.

"T

here has been no contact or attempt to get in contact from Bayern,"

a representative from Sports 360 told

Sky Germany

.

"After all the rumours in the media, the management of Julian Nagelsmann contacted Hasan Salihamidzic by themselves."

After a 4-2 victory over Dortmund on Saturday, Bayern has gone to the top of the Bundesliga table holding a 2-point lead over their Klassiker rivals.
