Arsenal’s Arteta and Saka win Premier League's monthly awards

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka and manager Mikel Arteta have been awarded the Premier League Player of the Month and Manager of the Month award for March.

Bukayo Saka has been named the Premier League's Player of the Month for March. This is the first time that Saka receives this award in his career.

The 21-year-old Saka scored three goals and provided two assists in four appearances in March. With 12 goals and 10 assists, Arsenal star is the only player to reach double figures for both goals and assists in the Premier League this term.

Alexander Isak, Alexis Mac Allister, Tyrone Mings, Mohamed Salah, and Leandro Trossard were the other nominees to receive this award for March.

Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta has also been named the Premier League Manager of the Month for March. Arteta has become only the third manager in history to win this award four times in a single season, after Guardiola and Klopp.

Arsenal managed to win all four of their Premier League matches in March. They beat Everton, Bournemouth, Fulham, and Crystal Palace.

Ahead of the final 10 matches of the season, Arsenal has an eight-point lead over Manchester City with one more game played. Arteta’s side next will face Leeds United on Saturday.
