Fulham 0-3 Arsenal: A Hat-trick of Assists for Trossard!
Arsenal traveled to Fulham on Sunday in a bid to continue their 5-point lead at top of the Premier League table. Thanks to goals from Gabriel Magalhaes, Martinelli, and Odegaard, they succeeded.
The Gunners dominated the game from the very beginning. They thought they achieved the opener through an own-goal by Robinson, however, the goal was ruled out due to offside. It didn't help Fulham that much as Gabriel Magalhaes's header through a stunning corner by Trossard opened up the scoresheet for the Gunners in the 21st minute.
The Gunners doubled up their lead through Gabriel Martinelli five minutes later as Trossard dribbled past Tete before crossing toward Martinelli. Martin Odegaard made it 3-0 for Arsenal in the first half's stoppage time as Trossard got three assists before the break.
The second half wasn't as eventful as the first half with Fulham unable to break through Arsenal's defense, and the Gunners unable to add to their advantage. With this London derby victory, Arsenal sits at top of the Premier League table with 66 points, five points ahead of Manchester City, while Fulham stays in the eighth place with the same points as Brighton, but a lower goal difference.
