Liverpool 7-0 Manchester United: Nothing But Misery For Man United!

Sitting 10 points above their arch-rivals, Man United traveled to face Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday seeking their first victory over the Reds at Anfield in six years. However, they got dominated by the host.

The game was tense from the very beginning, with Liverpool dominating the game early on. However, they failed to score from Andy Robertson and Harvey Elliott’s chances. Manchester United also had great chances as Bruno Fernandes’ header narrowly missed the goal.

Just a minute after Casemiro’s goal was ruled out offside, Cody Gakpo scored in 43rd-minute after brilliantly dribbling past Varane, assisted by Andy Robertson. Two minutes into the second half Darwin Nunez doubled Liverpool's lead with a header, assisted by Harvey Elliott. Liverpool continued to dominate as Gakpo scored his second goal in the 50th minute with an extraordinary chip over David De Gea, assisted by Mohamed Salah.

Manchester United players went furious as Antony, Lisandro Martinez, and Scott McTominay all got a yellow card in the next fifteen minutes. Salah scored the Reds’ fourth goal in the 65th minute with Man United struggling to find their pace. Salah became the first player to score in five games in a row against the Red Devils. To make the matters worse for United, Nunez scored his second goal in the 76th minute with a header from a cross by Jordan Henderson.

Mohamed Salah scored his second goal in the 83rd minute just before Roberto Firmino making it 7-0 in the 88th minute, making a miserable night to forget for the Red Devils.
