Graham Potter wants Chelsea to end Mason Mount exit rumors

With his contract due to expire in less than 18 months, the English midfielder has been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Man City, United, and Liverpool. Potter demands a quick resolution for the midfielder's contract negotiations.

Scoring three goals and providing three assists across all competitions this season,

Mason Mount

would be a great miss for

Chelsea

if he decides not to renew his contract with the club with Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool emerging to lure the midfielder away from Stamford Bridge.

Speaking about the 24-year-old midfielder's future, Graham Potter told his press conference:

"It is always complicated. There's always negotiations.

"It is best to leave it between Mason and the club. It is the best way for that to be dealt with.

"He has been fantastic to work with, an important player. Of course, I hope it gets resolved quickly."

Mount is Chelsea’s academy graduate and has scored 32 goals in 173 matches for the Blues. Chelsea will be back in action on Saturday with a Premier League clash against Southampton at Stamford Bridge.
