De Zerbi insists “there are solutions for Caicedo’s mistake”
After Caicedo took it to social media to express his disappointment with Brighton's rejection of Arsenal's £60m bid, the club excluded him from the training for a couple of days. De Zerbi backs Caicedo to return stronger saying "everyone makes mistakes".
Last week,
Arsenalmade a £60m bid for
Moises Caicedowith Brighton rejecting the bid from the Gunners. Chelsea also had their £55m verbal proposal rejected. Caicedo took it to Instagram to make it clear that he wanted to leave the club, saying:
"proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton".
Subsequently,
Brightonmade it clear to Caicedo that he won't be leaving this window as they have given him a few days away to get his head right
Speaking ahead of Brighton's FA Cup fourth-round game with Liverpool,
Roberto De Zerbi
told ITV:
"Moises is a good guy, we will see tomorrow and the next days what happens.
"We hope he stays with us until the end of the season.
"In life you can make mistake. For everyone there are many solutions. We will see the best solution for him and for us."
