Brighton bans Caicedo from training after transfer request
After Brighton rejected Arsenal's £60m bid, Moises Caicedo opted to hand in a transfer request, also taking it to social media. Now, the Seagulls have banned the Ecuadorian from training.
It was revealed yesterday that
Arsenalhas made a £60m bid for Moises Caicedo with
Brightonrejecting the bid from the Gunners. Chelsea also had their £55m verbal proposal rejected.
Caicedo took it to Instagram to make it clear he wanted to leave the club, saying:
"proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton".
wrote on Instagram:
"I am grateful to Mr Bloom and Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel I have always done my best for them. I always play football with a smile and with heart.
"I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador. My dream always to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador.
According to
Sky Sports, Brighton has made it clear to Caicedo that he won't be leaving this window as they have given him a few days away to get his head right for the remainder of the season.
