Richarlison out with injury for up to a month, according to Conte

Richarlison adds to Tottenham’s injury woes as the Brazilian winger could be out for 3 or 4 weeks.

Richarlison is yet another victim of Brazil’s World Cup campaign as the

Tottenham

winger could be out for up to a month due to a hamstring injury he picked up while playing for the Selecao.

Richarlison performed amazingly for Brazil as he scored 3 goals in the World Cup, including an acrobatic volley against Serbia that was voted as the goal of the tournament.

However, an MRI scan on his knee confirmed that Richarlison would have to be sidelined in Spurs crucial month ahead.

"I spoke with the medical department, they told me we need three to four weeks,"

Antonio conte said.

"His injury was a serious injury.

"I followed all my players at the World Cup with my fingers crossed, because you know very well you can lose important players. It happened with Richarlison, who had a problem, [Rodrigo] Bentancur and Ben Davies."

Richarlison

will not only be absent in the Boxing Day match against Brentford but could very well miss important fixtures against Arsenal and City on January 15 and 19 respectively.
